Life has been going in shifts: from busy to slow, energetic to flat-dead exhausted, sick to well.

Today, I am tired, busy, and a tad sick to my stomach. Otherwise, all is well
I am really looking forward to next semester! I will be taking 15 hours, and only 1 or 2 classes will have a load of homework. Currently, 3 of my 4 classes have a TON of homework, so it should be a nice change. Then, in the fall, I will only be taking BIOLOGY! After that is completed, I can graduate!!

Oh I am really looking forward to being a college graduate, and with 2 bachelor's no less. Maybe then I can actually keep up on the laundry and vacuming. I won't have a full-time job, (don't want one..next year I want a baby and be a stay-at-home mom) so maybe then I can be every bit the wife that my hubbie deserves. I've been too busy lately to help him out at all with the house or money....poor guy...
Here is why my husband is more than I deserve:
  • He cooks all the meals (fixed eggs/waffels and gave me breakfast in bed today)
  • He does all the dishes
  • Does all the bills
  • Encourages me when I am down
  • Encourages me to clean, without being pushy or mean
  • Understands when I am being moody

I just thank God everymorning that I actually found someone like him! He's wonderful!

And if anyone knows someone that wants a boa constrictor, we have one for sale. Here is a picture of it, he's really nice!

Ok, funny story time again!

I went grocery shopping with my dear husband last night. I asked him to write out the grocery list.
Here is what I found:

The entire list was typed in Excel. Organized by section of the store it is found in. (Dairy, Cereal Isle) Then, alphabetized within thier said categories. Not only this, but it gets better! He then put collumns, where he wrote quantity, and even what the food item was for! I wish I could upload this document for everyone to see, it really is a riot! He is so funny sometimes

YAY! I Have Blogger now! I joined so that anyone can post comments. This will be a great way for me to also keep in touch with people (Like Mindy, Chris & Baby Luke) when they leave. Oh, I am going to cry...better change the subject.

Today The K-State Wildcats play the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Our church has a concession stand to raise money for missions, and my hubbie and I are going to help out. It is one of the biggest games of the year, and we are shortstaffed. Should prove to be an interesting (and exhausting) game.

For magazine writing class, we were told to experience something for the first time and write a story about what happened. Some chose to ride with a policeman, others to ride with an EMT. I chose something more hands on! I spent the evening and entire night with my dear friends Chris & Mindy and 4 month old Baby Luke! He was tired and angry most of the evening due mainly to a lot more traveling than he is used to. So I got to hear my fair share of screaming!
But the funniest part is this:

For me to fully "experience" mothering a baby, I agreed to wake up in the middle of the night with Mindy, change his diaper, and let her feed him. I expected him to be awake around 3 or 4. At 2:57AM I heard this awful wail.I woke up, and as I did, it stopped. Oh dear, I thought. I missed him waking up! Better get outta bed and at least watch her feed him. So as I go to see Mindy, everyone is still in bed. I am still half asleep, so I say"Good Morning." in a whisper. Mindy then tells me sweetly that it was her cat crying, not the baby! LOL I was so embarrassed! How did I mistake it?
The paper is going to be so funny and educational. I was so excited for this opportunity. OH! And Baby Luke slept from 11:00pm-6:30am! Lucky me
OH! And maybe for Christmas I'll get a digital camera, so I can publish pictures! We shall see....
